PG Energy is the majority shareholder of Elektromontaż Poznań S.A, which was founded on 11th September 2019 through the merging of two companies belonging to PG Energy: PG Energetyka Sp. z.o.o based in Radom, and Elektromontaż Poznań S.A, the leader of the electro-energy industry. For many years, Elektromontaż Poznań S.A. has been the leading supplier of electrical installation services as well as producer of electro-energy equipment in Poland. BNP Paribas is the
minority financial investor of the company.
PG Energy also possesses operative and financial control of CoalTech Poland Sp. z.o.o. It is a joint venture with CoalTech LTD, a British company with headquarters in London. The company is in possession of CoalTech technology, which was developed and implemented in South Africa. CoalTech Poland’s aim is, firstly in Poland, to achieve the production of solid ecological fuel, which is created from refuse coal screenings that remain in the majority of coal mines. Presently, the CoalTech pellets are being commercially produced in mines in South Africa.
PG Energy has continually been involved in acquisition activity. Future investments are meant to compliment what the group has to offer and broaden its reach in the energy sector.

Paweł Gricuk – The Founder
The founder of PG Energy Capital Management (“PG Energy”) has over twenty five years of experience in the finance and energy sectors, which he acquired in both Polish and international companies.
From 1993 to 2005 he worked at J.P. Morgan in London and was the president of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in Warsaw (2001-2005). While in London, he was responsible for organising financing on international capital markets. He was also a member of the JP Morgan Capital team, which was directly responsible for investing in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Middle East and Africa. Throughout his career in investment banking, Paweł Gricuk organised a total of over $14 billion worth of financing for governments and companies in Europe. In Poland, among other things, he was responsible for the financing and stock exchange debut of TVN S.A and the capital investment of J.P. Morgan in Bank Handlowy in Warsaw.
After twelve years at J.P. Morgan,. in collaboration with Mid-Europa fund he acquired the company Wheelbrator Inc. in Denver, a world producer of machines for polishing steel surfaces.
Between 2007 and 2010, Gricuk held the position of Chairman of the Board of Petrolinvest S.A, the first Polish upstream company, which was engaged in oil exploration in Kazakhstan and Russia.
He was a member of the board of directors of Wheelbrator Inc. Starting in 2005 and for ten consecutive terms he was a member of the supervisory board of TVN S.A, and in 2014-2015 he was a member of the supervisory board of Tele-Fonika Kable S.A, where he was responsible for the restructuring of the company’s 1,4 billion zloty debt.
From 2013 to 2018 he was the chairman of the Polish Development Fund investment committee and a member of the Infrastructure Investment Fund committee. From 2015 to 2016 he was a member of the board of supervisors for Paradyż S.A and is currently a member of the supervisory board of Eques TFI S.A.
In 2012 he acquired Trans-Energo S.A., a specialized engineering company providing services for power stations and telecommunication firms. After restructuring, the company changed its name to PG Energetyka.
In 2017 he set up CoalTech Poland, a joint-venture with the London-based company Clean Africa Investment. – CoalTech Poland Sp. z o.o.
In 2018 he purchased 98.6% of shares of Elektromontaż Poznań S.A.
Paweł Gricuk graduated with a degree in Foreign Trade from the Socio-economic Department of the University of Lodz. He studied for a year at Beijing Foreign Studies University. He is fluent in English and Russian and has elementary knowledge of German and Chinese.
The company’s current shape and name date back to 11th September 2019 when the merging of PG Energetyka and Elektromontaż Ponzań, the leader in the electro installations sector, was officially registered.
The origins of this company go way back to 1949 when it was just a field unit of the Wroclaw-based Electroinstallation Unit. Exactly ten years later, Elektromontaż Poznań the independent company Elektromontaż Poznań came to life. Thus, in 2019 the company is celebrating two major anniversaries. Over the years, Elektromontaż Poznan has completed numerous projects.
The company has participated in the building of factories and plants that play a part in Polish history: Cegielski, Fabryka Łożysk Tocznych, Stilon and Ursus, Zastal, Elana, Chemical Plant in Police. In the 70s, Elektromontaż began to successfully conquer international markets. It has participated in projects in the Middle and Far East, Africa, as well as Europe, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and present-day Ukraine and Russia.
The joint venture has a team of professionals with years of experience and the required certifications to perform contracts in the industrial, energy and telecommunications sectors. Project teams use new technologies, which builds a competitive advantage.

COALTECH POLAND SP.ZO.O.
Coaltech Poland Sp. z.o.o is a joint venture of PG Energy and the British company Clean Invest Africa, which made its debut on the London Stock Exchange in 2018. The British company is the owner of CoalTech technology, which was devised and implemented in South Africa with the backing of capital from Bahrain.
The company’s core business is the production of solid ecological fuel (pellets/granulate), which is created from coal dust, the production waste deposited near each coal mine. The fine heaps remaining in the mines have had a negative impact on the environment. The patented technology allows the waste to be changed into coal pellets, which are fit for commercial and industrial use.
